Description

Flat steel braces strengthen timber joints in frames, furniture, gates and shelving. They are screwed across the joint on the face of the timber.

Use countersunk wood screws that fill the holes and are short enough not to break through. Fit on both faces for extra strength.

A straight mending plate bridges a butt joint or a split in timber to hold it together.
