Countersunk machine screw, M5 x 20mm, for bolting metal parts, hinges and fittings with a nut or into a threaded hole.
Description
A machine screw with a metric M5 thread and a countersunk head that sits flush with the surface.
Use it with an M5 nut and washer, or into a tapped M5 hole. Drill a countersink in the part so the head sits flush.
Use a flat washer under the nut on soft materials, and a spring washer or lock nut where there is vibration. Choose a slightly longer screw if a nut and washer must fit on the end.
