LP gas changeover valve for a two-cylinder installation, letting you switch supply from an empty cylinder to a full one. Sold each.
Description
A changeover valve joins two LP gas cylinders to one supply, so when the one cylinder runs empty the other can take over and the appliance keeps running while you swap the empty cylinder.
It is fitted between the cylinder pigtails and the regulator. Whether this unit changes over automatically or by hand, and its connection threads, are not listed on this item – ask us to check it against your pigtails and regulator.
Used for:
- Two-cylinder gas geyser installations
- Stoves and hobs on 2 x 9kg or 2 x 19kg cylinders
- Upgrading a single-cylinder setup
- Replacing a faulty changeover
Not for: Single-cylinder hook-ups where a regulator alone is enough.
Sold each. Fixed installations must be done and certified by a registered LP gas installer.
