Description

A male adaptor joins polyethylene irrigation pipe to a female-threaded tap, valve or fitting. One end is barbed for the pipe and the other has a male thread.

Wrap the thread with PTFE tape before screwing it in, and secure the pipe on the barb with a hose clamp where needed.

Used for:

Garden and drip irrigation lines
Low-pressure polyethylene pipe
Repairs to irrigation systems

Not for mains pressure or HDPE compression systems.
