Headless hex socket grub screws (set screws) in M5, M6 and M10, for locking pulleys, knobs and collars to shafts.
Description
A grub screw is a headless screw with a hex socket in one end. It screws into a threaded hole and presses on a shaft to stop pulleys, collars, handles and knobs from turning or sliding.
Tighten with the correct Allen key. On a shaft with a flat, tighten the screw onto the flat for the best grip.
Used for:
- Locking pulleys and collars to shafts
- Door handles, knobs and fittings
- Machinery repairs
