Compression end cap for closing off 25mm or 32mm HDPE pipe on water supply and irrigation lines.
Description
HDPE compression fittings join polyethylene water pipe without heat or glue. The nut, grip ring and seal hold the pipe and make the joint watertight.
Cut the pipe square, slide on the nut and grip ring, push the pipe fully home past the seal, and tighten by hand plus a little with a fitting wrench. Check the joint for drips once the water is turned on.
HDPE fittings do not rust and suit buried and outdoor lines.
An end cap closes off the end of a line, for example at the end of an irrigation run or a future extension point.
