Compression elbow for HDPE pipe with a female threaded end, for turning a 90° corner onto a male threaded fitting.
Description
A compression fitting for HDPE (polyethylene) pipe. Loosen the nut, push the pipe in past the O-ring to the stop, and hand-tighten the nut so the grip ring holds the pipe.
The threaded end connects to taps, valves, pumps and tank outlets. Seal the thread with PTFE tape.
The size is given as pipe size x thread size.
Used for:
- Borehole and pump lines
- Irrigation mains and garden supply lines
- Tank and JoJo outlet connections
- Farm and smallholding water lines
- Connecting poly pipe to valves and sockets
- Connecting poly pipe to valves and sockets
