Description
Single-core PVC-insulated general purpose (GP) wire in 10mm², red. 10mm² is a heavy size used for main feeds, sub-board supplies and high-current circuits such as stoves and geysers where the installation calls for it.
Run GP wire in conduit, and use the correct colours for live, neutral and earth. Cable sizing and installation must be done by a qualified electrician and covered by a CoC.
Used for:
- Main and sub-board feeds
- High-current circuits
- Earth and bonding conductors (where specified)
- Electrical installations and upgrades
Not for: Flexible leads – use cabtyre.
