Description
A glass cartridge fuse protects a circuit by melting its wire when too much current flows. The glass body lets you see when the fuse has blown.
Always replace a fuse with one of the same rating and the same physical size. Check the length and diameter of the old fuse before buying, and find out why it blew before fitting a new one.
