Galvanised flat T-brace, 100 x 100mm, for strengthening T-joints in timber frames, gates and fences.
Description
Flat steel braces strengthen timber joints in frames, furniture, gates and shelving. They are screwed across the joint on the face of the timber.
Use countersunk wood screws that fill the holes and are short enough not to break through. Fit on both faces for extra strength.
A T-brace holds a T-joint, for example where a rail meets the middle of a post or a cross-member meets a frame.
Used for:
- T-joints in frames and gates
- Fence rails to posts
- Pergolas and outdoor timber
