KonstruktIt Galvanised Swage Nipple 25mm

Description

A short galvanised steel nipple with male threads, swaged (formed) to size, for joining two female galvanised fittings on 25mm (1″) steel water lines. Galvanising protects it against rust on outdoor and underground work.

Wrap male threads with PTFE tape (about 8–10 turns, with the thread direction) or use a thread sealant, tighten firmly with the right spanner and check for leaks under pressure.

Used for:

• Galvanised water and garden lines
• Standpipe and tap connections
• Repairs on old steel plumbing
