KonstruktIt Galvanised Socket, Female x Female 1/2″

Description

A short galvanised coupling with a 1/2″ BSP female thread at each end. It joins two threaded galvanised pipes or nipples in a straight line, or adds a female connection to a male fitting. Galvanising protects it against rust on water lines.

Wrap the male threads with PTFE tape or use thread paste, then tighten with a pipe wrench while holding the other side so the pipe does not turn.

Used for:

• Joining galvanised water pipe
• Extending standpipes and tap lines
• Repairs to threaded garden and farm lines
