Galvanised reducing tee, 3/4″ run with a 1/2″ branch, female BSP threads.
Description
A reducing tee with a 3/4″ (20mm) run and a 1/2″ (15mm) branch, all female BSP threads. It takes a smaller branch, such as a garden tap, off a 3/4″ galvanised line without a separate bush. Use PTFE tape on the mating threads.
Galvanised malleable iron fittings are zinc-coated to resist rust and are used on threaded galvanised water lines, garden taps and irrigation risers. Wrap male threads with PTFE tape or hemp and paste before assembly, and do not over-tighten into cast fittings.
Used for:
- Adding a 1/2″ tap to a 3/4″ line
- Irrigation and garden lines
- Repairs to galvanised plumbing
Not for gas lines unless the installation is done and certified by a registered gas installer.
