Galvanised steel end cap, in 1/2″, 3/4″ or 1″, for closing off the male-threaded end of a pipe.
Description
Galvanised steel threaded fittings for water pipework, plus repairs and extensions to older galvanised lines. Hold the mating fitting so the run does not twist. Seal the threads with PTFE tape or thread paste and tighten with pipe wrenches.
An end cap screws onto the end of a threaded pipe to close it off, for example where a line will be extended later.
Galvanised fittings are tough and suit exposed and outdoor pipework.
Used for:
- Closing off pipe ends
- Capping future extension points
- Repairs to existing lines
