Galvanised steel 90° elbow with one male and one female thread, in 1/2″, 3/4″ or 1″, for threaded water pipework.
Description
A 90° elbow turns a threaded galvanised steel pipe run through a right angle.
Seal the threads with PTFE tape or thread paste and tighten with pipe wrenches, holding the fitting so it does not twist the run. Galvanised fittings are tough and suit exposed and outdoor water pipework.
One end is a male (external) thread and the other a female thread, so it can screw straight into a fitting or valve.
Used for:
- Galvanised water pipework
- Outdoor and exposed pipe runs
- Repairs to existing galvanised lines
