200mm flat second-cut file with handle, for shaping and smoothing metal.
Description
A 200mm flat engineers file with a second-cut (medium) tooth and a fitted handle, for removing burrs, shaping and smoothing steel, aluminium and brass after cutting. Second cut sits between coarse bastard files and fine smooth files. We also stock a 250mm bastard file.
File on the push stroke only, with the work clamped in a vice, and clean the teeth with a file card. Never use a file without a handle.

- Deburring cut metal
- Shaping and smoothing
- Sharpening tools
