Description
Circlips (retaining rings) sit in a groove on a shaft or in a bore to hold bearings, gears, wheels and pins in place. Fit and remove them with circlip pliers, and replace any that are bent.
External circlips fit into a groove on the outside of a shaft; the size is the shaft diameter. Check the size against the existing part before buying.
