10 x 70mm expansion bolt for heavy fixings into solid brick and concrete; drill a 16mm hole. Sold each.

Description
A 10 x 70mm expansion bolt that grips by expanding against the sides of the hole as the bolt is tightened, giving a strong fixing in solid masonry.
Drill a 16mm hole slightly deeper than the anchor, blow or brush out the dust, tap the anchor in and tighten. Keep a good distance from edges and corners so the masonry does not crack.
Used for:
- Fixing gate posts, hinges and brackets to walls
- Mounting heavy shelving and racking
- Fixing steel base plates and machinery to slabs
- Securing burglar bars and security gates
Not for: Hollow blocks, drywall or soft brick – use an anchor made for those.
