Steel D-shackle with screw pin, in 6mm, 8mm or 10mm, for joining chain, wire rope, straps and fittings.
Description
A D-shackle links chain, wire rope eyes, straps and fittings. The screw pin passes through both ends of the D to close it.
Tighten the pin fully, and mouse it with wire if it may work loose. Use a larger shackle for heavier loads; general hardware shackles are not rated for overhead lifting.
Used for:
- Joining chain and wire rope
- Shade sails, gates and trailers
- Boating, farm and general rigging
Not for overhead lifting unless rated.
Sold per shackle.
