6 x 13mm cross dowel (barrel nut) for strong bolted joints in furniture.
Description
A 6 x 13mm cross dowel, also called a barrel nut. It sits in a hole drilled across the timber and takes an M6 bolt from the side, making a strong joint that can be taken apart and put back together again.
Line up the slot in the dowel with a screwdriver so the bolt finds the thread easily.
