Cord end (bootlace) ferrule for 1.5mm² flexible wire, crimped on before the wire goes into a terminal.
Description
A cord end ferrule, also called a bootlace ferrule, for 1.5mm² flexible (stranded) wire. It is crimped over the bare strands so they cannot fray or spread when the wire is clamped in a terminal.
This gives a firmer, safer connection in screw and spring terminals. Crimp it with a ferrule crimping tool.
Used for:
- DB board and control panel wiring
- Light fittings and appliances with flexible cord
- Terminal blocks and connectors
Not for solid-core house wire.
