Description

The run of the tee is 22mm and the branch is 15mm, so a 15mm line can be taken straight off a 22mm main without a separate reducer.

Copper capillary fittings are soldered onto copper pipe. Clean the pipe and fitting until shiny, apply flux, heat evenly and feed in solder until it runs right round the joint.

Let the joint cool without moving it, and wipe off flux residue afterwards.

• Geyser and bathroom plumbing
• Repairs and extensions to copper pipework
