DZR brass compression ring (olive) for 15mm or 22mm compression fittings.
Description
A brass ring that sits under the compression nut. Tightening the nut squeezes the olive onto the pipe to seal the joint.
DZR (dezincification-resistant) brass resists corrosion in aggressive water.
Use a new olive when an old joint leaks or a fitting is re-made.
Slide the nut on first, then the olive, before pushing the pipe into the fitting. Tighten hand-tight plus about a turn with a spanner.
Used for:
- Re-making leaking compression joints
- Spares for compression couplers, elbows and valves
- Copper and multilayer pipe connections
