KonstruktIt Compression Coupler 22mm x Male Iron

Description

A straight coupler with a 22mm compression end and a male iron (threaded) end, for joining 22mm copper pipe to a female-threaded fitting such as a valve, tank or geyser connection. No soldering is needed on the compression ends. Turn off the water before working and check the joint for leaks once the water is back on.

Cut the pipe square and deburr it, slide on the nut and olive, push the pipe fully home and tighten firmly with two spanners without over-tightening. Seal male threads with PTFE tape or thread sealant.

• Copper to threaded fittings
