KonstruktIt Chrome Nipple 1/2″ x 15mm, 20mm Long

Description

A short chrome-plated nipple that joins a 1/2″ threaded fitting and a 15mm connection on show, for example behind a basin or on a tap point, where a plain brass nipple would look out of place.

Wrap male threads with PTFE tape (about 8–10 turns, with the thread direction) or use a thread sealant, tighten firmly with the right spanner and check for leaks under pressure. Use a cloth on the spanner so the chrome does not scratch.

Used for:

• Basin and sink tap points
• Showers and mixers
• Extending recessed wall fittings
