Capillary elbow joining 22mm copper tube to a 3/4″ male thread at 90°.
Description
A 90° elbow with a 22mm capillary socket for copper tube and a 3/4″ female iron (BSP) thread.
Capillary fittings are soldered onto copper tube. Clean the tube and fitting with steel wool, apply flux, heat the joint evenly and feed in solder until a ring shows all round. Solder the copper end before connecting the thread, and seal the thread with PTFE tape.
Used for:
- Hot and cold copper water lines
- Geyser and solar installations
- Repairs and alterations to copper plumbing
