Description

Brickforce Double is welded masonry reinforcement: two longitudinal wires with welded cross wires. Use the 230 mm width in 230 mm solid walls and other wide bed joints so the mesh sits in the mortar, not proud of the face.

Lay it flat in the bed joint. Typical site practice is every fourth course, plus extra courses at foundations, above and below openings, and at lintel height. Lap ends and keep it fully bedded.

• 230 mm solid and 1½-brick walls
• Double-skin / cavity wall bed joints where a wide roll is specified
• Boundary and retaining brickwork
• Courses above openings and at foundation level

Not a wall tie and not hoop iron. Do not use 75 mm single-wall brickforce in a 230 mm bed. Confirm galvanised vs black wire if the wall is external, wet or coastal.

Typical pack: 230 mm wide × 20 m roll. Store dry and off the ground.
