1/2″ brass swing check (non-return) valve that lets water flow one way only, for pump, tank and geyser lines.
Description
A brass swing check valve with 1/2″ threads. A hinged flap inside opens with the flow and closes if water tries to run back, so it stops back-flow and keeps pump lines primed. Fit it with the arrow pointing in the direction of flow. We also stock the 3/4″ size.
Wrap male threads with PTFE tape or use thread sealant, tighten firmly with the right wrench and check for leaks under pressure.
Used for:
- Pump delivery and suction lines
- Tanks and gravity systems
- Preventing back-flow on supply lines
