Brass spring check (non-return) valve in 1/2″ or 3/4″ threaded, to stop water flowing backwards.
Description
A spring check valve (non-return valve) lets water flow one way only and closes when flow reverses. Fit it with the arrow pointing in the direction of flow.
It is used after pumps, on geyser cold supplies and on borehole and tank lines to stop backflow and keep pumps primed. Seal the threads with PTFE tape.
Used for:
- Pump and borehole lines
- Tank and geyser cold water supplies
- Irrigation systems
