Brass reducer, male x female, 1/2″ x 3/4″.
Description
A brass reducer with a male thread on one side and a female thread on the other, for joining 1/2″ and 3/4″ fittings.
Brass resists corrosion in water lines. Seal the male thread with PTFE tape and tighten with a spanner. Check the size against your existing fitting or take the old part with you when buying. Turn off the water supply before starting and open a tap to release pressure.
Used for:
- Taps and valves
- Garden and tank fittings
- Changing thread sizes
