Description

Boiled linseed oil is linseed oil treated to dry faster than raw linseed oil. It soaks into timber, feeds it and brings out the grain, and is used on tool handles, furniture, doors, garden timber and as an ingredient in putty and oil paints. We also stock raw linseed oil.

Wipe or brush on thin coats, wipe off the excess after 15 to 30 minutes and leave it to dry before the next coat. Oily rags can catch fire by themselves, so spread them flat to dry or soak them in water before throwing away.

• Doors and garden timber
• Restoring dry wood
