Hollow 3/8″ rear axle for cup-and-cone bicycle hubs.
Description
A replacement hollow 3/8″ rear axle for cup-and-cone bicycle hubs, for when the old axle is bent or the threads are stripped. Measure the old axle length and thread before buying.
Keep the old cones and spacers in order as you strip the hub. Grease the bearings, adjust the cones so the wheel spins freely without play, and lock them.
Used for:
- Replacing a bent rear axle
- Rear hub rebuilds
- Older and commuter bikes
