KonstruktIt Angle Grinder Backing Pad 178mm

Description

A 178mm (7″) rubber backing pad that fits on an angle grinder spindle to carry resin fibre sanding discs, for sanding and shaping steel, removing rust, paint and filler, and finishing welds. The pad supports the disc so it flexes slightly and follows the surface instead of gouging.

Check the grinder spindle thread and maximum speed against the pad before fitting. Use a fibre disc of the same diameter, tighten with the clamping nut, and wear eye protection, gloves and a dust mask.
