Inner Tube Patch 50mm

Description

A 50mm patch for mending a hole in a bicycle inner tube, from the same YP range as our 75mm patch and our 16-patch repair kit. The 50mm size covers a normal thorn or pinch puncture with room to spare around the hole.

Roughen the tube around the hole, spread a thin layer of vulcanising solution a little wider than the patch and wait until it turns dull and tacky. Press the patch on firmly from the centre outwards, then dust it with chalk or talc before refitting the tube.

• Wheelbarrow and trolley tubes
• Topping up a puncture kit
