35mm titanium-coated hinge boring bit for concealed cupboard hinges.
Description
A 35mm hinge boring bit cuts the flat-bottomed cup hole that concealed cupboard hinges sit in. The titanium coating reduces friction and helps the cutting edges stay sharp in chipboard, MDF and solid wood.
Mark the hinge centre, then drill square to the door using a drill stand or jig if possible. Stop at the depth the hinge needs so that you do not break through the face of the door. Run the drill at a moderate speed.
Used for:
- Concealed cupboard hinges
- Kitchen and wardrobe doors
- Chipboard and MDF
