115mm depressed-centre grinding disc, 7mm thick, 22mm bore, for heavy grinding on steel.
Description
A depressed-centre bonded grinding disc for angle grinders, for removing weld seams, bevelling edges and heavy stock removal on steel.
The 7mm thickness gives a long working life for heavy grinding. Specification A24X, Progress range. Grind with the disc at about 30° to the work and never use it for cutting. Check that the maximum speed marked on the disc is at least the no-load speed of your machine, keep the guard on, and wear eye protection, gloves and a dust mask.
Used for:
- Grinding down welds
- Bevelling and chamfering edges
- Removing heavy rust and scale
Not for cutting.
