Glazing Putty

Description

Soft putty used to bed glass into a window rebate and to form the bevelled seal on the outside. It stays workable while you shape it, then skins over.

Knead the putty until soft, press a bed into the rebate, set the glass and pins or clips, then run a bevel with a putty knife.

Paint it once it has skinned to protect it.

Used for:

• Re-glazing timber and steel windows
• Replacing broken panes
• Sealing loose old putty
• Greenhouse and cold frame glass

Not for aluminium frames with rubber glazing beads.

Sold per tub. Keep the lid tightly closed.
