Gauging trowel, 175 mm blade with wooden handle, for mixing and applying small amounts of mortar or plaster.
Description
A round-nosed steel gauging trowel with a 175 mm blade, a little bigger than the 150 mm size for faster mixing. Handy for small batches and patching where a brick trowel is too clumsy.
Clean off mortar before it sets and dry the blade to stop rust.
Used for:
- Patching plaster and render
- Mixing small batches of mortar, filler or tile adhesive
- Pointing and touch-ups
- Filling around frames and pipes
