A 600 g drop-forged steel axe with a fibreglass handle, for chopping firewood, splitting kindling and light felling.
Description
A general-purpose axe with a drop-forged carbon-steel head, hardened at the cutting edge, on a fibreglass handle. Fibreglass is stronger and more weather-resistant than wood, absorbs shock and will not loosen or rot, and the rubber grip helps control.
Keep the edge sharp with a file or stone, and store it dry with a blade cover fitted.
Used for:
- Chopping firewood and kindling for the braai
- Clearing branches and brush
- Camping and farm use
- Light felling and trimming
