Eureka Top Speed Roofing Screw, Hex Head

Description

Eureka Top Speed screws are mainly a maintenance fixing. Where old roof nails or tek screws have worked loose and the roof leaks, a Top Speed screw goes into the same hole and grips because of its slightly thicker 6.35mm diameter.

Fit them with bonded washers for a watertight seal on corrugated or IBR roof sheeting, and drive with a hex nutsetter, stopping as soon as the washer compresses. The 65mm length suits most sheeting to timber; use the 90mm where the profile or purlin needs more length.

Used for:

• Re-fixing loose roof sheeting
• Replacing leaking roof nails and tek screws

Not for new steel purlins; use tek screws for metal there.
