Description
Eureka 5.5 x 16mm T3 tek screws drill and tap into steel in one step. Drive with a nutsetter at under 1500rpm for best results.
The dual thread design suits fixing IBR and corrugated sheeting to steel purlins as well as light steel to steel. Hold the drill square, let the T3 point drill through before the thread engages, and stop once the head seats so the thread does not strip. A magnetic nutsetter makes one-handed fixing on the roof much easier, and the low speed keeps the drill point from burning out.
Used for:
- IBR and sheeting to steel purlins
- Steel-to-steel fixing
Not for timber purlins.
