Eureka Roof Nail, Bonded Washer
Price range: R42.90 through R48.90 incl. VAT
Spiral shank roof nails for fixing IBR and corrugated sheeting to timber with bonded washers.
Description
Eureka roof nails are made for fixing roof sheeting such as IBR or corrugated sheets to wooden structures. The spiral shank grips the timber far better than a straight shank, and with a bonded washer the fixing seals against rain.
Position the sheeting and mark the nail positions, then drive the nails with a hammer through the bonded washers until they sit flush with the sheet without crushing the profile. Use the 90mm length where the sheet profile or battens need extra length. Space the nails according to the guidance of the sheeting manufacturer.
Used for:
- IBR and corrugated sheeting to timber purlins
- Roof repairs on timber structures
Not for steel purlins; use tek screws for metal there.
