Eureka tungsten carbide-tipped masonry drill bit for drilling brick, block, stone and plaster. Sizes 4mm to 16mm.
Description
A masonry bit with a very hard tungsten carbide tip that chips away brittle material such as brick, stone and masonry. It works best with the drill on hammer action.
Drill at a slow speed, withdraw often to clear dust, and drill in short bursts so the tip does not overheat. For large holes, start with a smaller bit and step up.
For hard concrete, use an SDS bit in an SDS drill.
Used for:
- Wall plugs and anchors in brick and block
- Fixing brackets, shelves and burglar bars
- Cable and conduit holes through walls
- Light drilling in concrete with a hammer drill
Not for metal, glass or tiles.
