Eureka large flange aluminium blind rivets with a wide head, for fixing softer material such as plywood or plastic to metal.
Description
The extra-wide flange spreads the load, so these rivets hold soft materials such as plywood, board, canvas or plastic to metal without pulling through. Moderate corrosion protection; not watertight.
Install with a rivet gun using the right nozzle for the rivet diameter. Drill the pilot hole to the size on the pack label, then pump the gun until the mandrel snaps off: that means the rivet is set.
Sizes 4mm and 4.8mm.
Used for:
- Plywood and board to metal
- Trailer floors and sides
- Canvas, rubber and plastic to frames
Not watertight; not for structural loads.
