Eureka cobalt HSS drill bit for hard steels and stainless steel, with a 135° split point. Sizes 2mm to 10mm.
Description
Cobalt bits are harder than titanium and HSS bits and keep their edge at high temperatures, so they drill stainless steel and hard steels. They are more brittle, so handle them with care.
The 135° split point starts cleanly without wandering. Keep the speed low, use cutting oil and let the bit cut rather than forcing it.
Overheating blunts any metal bit fast.
