Eureka yellow passivated full-thread Pozi chipboard screws for chipboard, softwood and fixing thin material to wood.
Description
Full-thread chipboard screws for chipboard and softer woods. Because the thread runs to the head, the top material is held firmly and cannot slide along the shank, so they are good for fixing thin material such as metal to wood.
Use a Pozi screwdriver or bit. In hardwood, drill a pilot hole about 2mm smaller than the screw diameter so the wood does not split.
The yellow passivated finish resists rust. Sold in packs.
Used for:
- Chipboard and softwood projects
- Hinges, catches and thin plates
- Back panels and drawer bottoms
Not for wood-to-wood joints that need pulling tight (use a smooth-shank screw).
