Emjay Poly Socket 1″ BSP

Description

The 1″ size of the Emjay poly threaded socket, for joining two 1″ male-threaded fittings. The centre stop means the socket cannot run right through the fitting, and the octagonal nuts at both ends make it easy to grip by hand or spanner. Microjet make the range from black UV-stabilised polypropylene with BSP threads cut to a 2° taper.

Wrap the male threads with PTFE tape and tighten firmly. Plastic threads strip if forced, so do not use a long pipe wrench.

• 1″ irrigation mains and manifolds
• Pump, filter and valve connections
• Tank outlet fittings
