Duram NS7 High Heat Paint, Black – 1L

Description

Duram NS7 is a solvent-based silicone resin paint that primes and top-coats in one, and resists heat up to 700°C. It is for new and weathered metal on fireplaces, braais, wood stoves, chimneys, screens and firepits, inside or out, giving a smooth matt black finish that keeps its colour after repeated heating and resists oils and chemicals.

Remove rust and old paint, clean with Duram NS2 and brush on two coats, 4 to 6 hours apart, at 6 to 7 m² per litre per coat. Before first use, cure it by heating to 200°C for 30 minutes; it may smoke a little the first time. Flammable, so use with good ventilation.
