Duram NS5 Metcote self-etching primer in black, 500ml, for maximum adhesion on steel, aluminium, PVC, fibreglass and Chromadek.
Description
Metcote self-etches and primes new and weathered mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, PVC, fibreglass, Chromadek, ZincAlume and AluZinc, giving top coats a surface they grip firmly. It dries quickly for a fast top coat, resists acids and alkalis, and is heat resistant to 220°C. This is black in a 500ml tin.
Clean the surface first (Duram NS2 on galvanised and new metal), then apply one coat at 8 to 10 m² per litre; add a second coat in coastal or industrial areas. Top-coat with Duram NS8 or another suitable finish.

- PVC gutters, pipes and fibreglass
- Chromadek and ZincAlume sheeting
