Description
Duram NS4 is a water-based anti-rust primer that neutralises existing rust and helps stop new rust forming on new and corroded metal. It is low-odour, non-flammable and cleans up with water, so it can be used indoors and in confined spaces.
Apply two coats at 8–10 m² per litre per coat, and a third coat in coastal and industrial areas. It is surface-dry in about an hour at 25 °C and takes most topcoats.
Used for:
- Gates, fencing and burglar bars
- Steel window and door frames
- Roofs, gutters and tanks
- Balustrades, handrails and staircases
- Spot-priming rusted patches before repainting
Not for: New galvanised iron – Duram specifies its NS6 Galvanized Iron Primer for that.
5 litre tin. Store under cover in cool, dry conditions.
